Rachel: Owner

Rachel trained at Mary Reid International School of Beauty in 1995, from there she went on to work at The Edinburgh Floataruim for 5 years, from there moved onto various salons in Edinburgh working with top brands such as Guinot, Decleor, Clarins and Dermalogica.

After 28 years in the beauty industry she still loves meeting clients and doing lots of different treatments. She is especially passionate about skin health and loves giving (and receiving!) relaxing face and body treatments.

Rachel is extremely proud of The Lilac Rooms and passionate about her work. She is always thinking of ways to improve the services offered and believes it is so important to stay at the fore front of the ever changing beauty industry.

In her spare time Rachel likes to socialise, loves exercising, walking her dogs and spending time with her husband and two boys.

Natasha: Beauty Therapist

Natasha has been in the beauty industry for 12 years, she loved her training so much she stayed on at college to complete her HNC in beauty and spa therapies.

Natasha enjoys all aspects of beauty especially waxing, facials & massage.

She loves to make clients feel comfortable and relaxed in every treatment.

Natasha is an expert in Massage & facials

Cat: Beauty Therapist

Cat gained her Beauty Therapy qualification in 2021 at The Edinburgh School of Beauty.

She went on to work at Pure Spa & Beauty before moving on to a smaller salon in central Edinburgh. As a result she has gained lots of experience in nails, waxing & massage.

Cat enjoys making clients feel good about themselves and her favourite treatments are nails, facials & waxing.

She enjoys going to the gym, spending time with family, friends and  her boyfriend.
